Very impressive pictures of Yokohama. I am now thinking that Asia has some cities that can easily compete with the western skylines. Thanks for posting and sharing.

Sugoi! I can't wait to visit the landmark tower the next time I go. I walked past it on my last visit in March, is there a cost to view from the tower??

Beautiful photos, as always. I'm just back from Japan myself, after having spent two weeks at Rokko Island, in Hyogo. Also went to Samiyoshi and Sannomiya, and to see a big statue of Atomic Man.

Living in Tokyo now, but I may end up moving to Yokohama after the first of the year. Minatomirai is one of my favorite places in Japan and if I do move that way, I'll be looking forward to spending a lot more time there.

I think that the best place to admire Yokohama from high above is from the heights of the Yokohama Landmark Tower. Here’s a first set of bird’s eye view photos, and naturally, some landmark information.
