According to Osamu Tezuka’s manga, Astro Boy was born in Takadanobaba, in April 2003. So, since 2003, the Japan Rail Station Takadanobaba uses the Astro Boy theme as a train departure signal, and beautiful mural paintings with the works of Osamu Tezuka were displayed at the entrance of the station:
