Defining images of Japan, blooming Sakura cherry trees

It is said that Japan is never more beautiful than during the sakura cherry blossoms period… And that’s true, indeed! During this season you realize that many trees, unnoticed during the rest of the year, are now no less than spectacular.

Various species of sakura are blooming on the side of the road, in courtyards, in parks or on the banks of the river. A view of blooming sakura trees may be one of the most beautiful and characteristic images of Japan…
