I’m a big fan of robots, so I was delighted when I had the chance to see Robocue in action, at the Dezome-shiki (New Year’s Firefighters Parade).
Robocue is a remote-controlled rescue robot, used by Tokyo Fire Department since 2009. Robocue was built to save lives in case of disasters, being capable to pull a person inside its body (using a sort of pincers and a conveyor belt) and to carry it to safety.
