A Japan Photo per Day
Traditional Japanese sweets
I love the Japanese traditional sweets, so when I arrived in Kawagoe, the first visit was to the Kashiya Yokocho street, also called Penny Candy Lane.
Here you can find sweets produced after original recipes coming from the the old Edo days, each shop using its own recipe. The sellers are friendly, inviting you to taste free samples…
Candies, rice crackers, karinto… when you go there, be prepared to eat a lot of them. Everything tastes great and they are quite cheap too!
