The 300 years old Great Buddha of Tenno-ji, Yanaka, Tokyo

Built 328 years ago, the copper seating figure of Buddha at the Tenno-ji temple in Yanaka, Tokyo, was renowned during the Edo and Meiji periods. It was last restored in 1933, what it was placed on a new base, and was registered as a tangible cultural asset in 1993.
