Bitchu Matsuyama castle keep

Wed, June 27, 2018, by Muza-chan
Located at the highest altitude among all the Japanese castles and surrounded by multiple walls, the Bitchu Matsuyama castle, built 335 years ago by Mizunoya Katsutaka, was never conquered.

The castle's keep (tenshu in Japanese), a yagura turret and several parts of the walls survived intact until today.
