Christmas lights in Namba Parks, Osaka, and a bit of history

The idea to illuminate trees on Christmas comes from an associate of Edison, who decorated the first Christmas trees with electric bulbs on December 22, 1882, in New York.

The Christmas light bulb set became a mass product during the 1920s, and an interesting fact is that, at the time, the world's leading manufacturer was... Japan, due to the activity of one entrepreneur named Louis Szel.
