Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Crossing Kintai-kyo bridge

Sat, August 31, 2019, by Muza-chan
During the Edo period, only the samurai cast was allowed to cross the spectacular Kintai-kyo bridge in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Today, the bridge is opened for a small admission fee, and the experience of crossing it is really special, because of the steep arches and the view offered, as you can see in today's photo, taken towards the Nishiki side, which is an old commercial area.
