Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Dohtonbori okonomiyaki restaurant

Sun, June 21, 2015, by Muza-chan
Many delicious Japanese dishes were invented in Osaka, and among them we must mention takoyaki and okonomiyaki, both created around the 1940s.

Although okonomiyaki is by now a very popular dish in the entire country, the specialized restaurants in Osaka are the most sought-after. Photographed here is the Dohtonbori restaurant on Dotonbori, an easy to remember establishment because of its cute tanuki mascot.
