Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Floats Parade

Tue, April 2, 2019, by Muza-chan
The floats used for the Japanese festivals are often surprisingly complex structures. The two-story floats used for the parade at the Uchiwa Matsuri in Kumagaya, Saitama, are built with a stage (hayashidai) at the first floor, for the group of taiko drummers who are playing for the entire duration of the parade.
