The Fushimi ward of Kyoto, besides its renowned sake breweries is also an important historical spot, tightly connected to the story of the famous samurai Ryōma Sakamoto.

One of the streets, close to the Teradaya inn, carries today the name of Ryōma and it is dotted here and there with signs and merchandise reminding of him...
