Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Fukagawa Edo Museum

Thu, September 20, 2018, by Muza-chan
A small neighborhood at the end of the Edo period, modeled after the Sagacho part in Fukagawa, was rebuilt inside the Fukagawa Edo Museum. There are streets, homes, stores, a tea stall and a noodle shop, a boathouse, a canal, and a fire watchtower.

The reconstruction was made with attention to smallest details, both inside and outside, to recreate as close as possible the look of the old Edo. There's even... a cat on a roof!
