If you visit the Namba district from Osaka, one of the most exotic food places in Japan, take a half-hour detour to admire a unique shrine, with a very special architecture: called Namba Yasaka, this little Shinto shrine features a stage located... in the mouth of a huge, 12-meters-tall lion head - about the size of a 4 stories building. The role of the giant head is, like any other koma-inu, to protect the shrine against evil spirits...
