Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

A glimpse of the life of a Japanese farmer 150 years ago

Thu, April 11, 2019, by Muza-chan
Photographed here is the reconstruction of a farmhouse room at the Sankyo Warehouses Museum in Sakata, with life-sized dolls and common life and household items. The museum offers a very interesting glimpse at the life of the rice farmers of 150 years ago, after the end of the Edo period.
