Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Goryokaku Fort in autumn colors

Fri, January 18, 2019, by Muza-chan
The place of the former Goryōkaku Fort, built by the Tokugawa shogunate to protect the Tsugaru Strait, was designated as a national special historic site. Today, the star-shaped stronghold was converted to a spectacularly beautiful park, filled with cherry tress looking gorgeous in the autumn colors.
