I love how the Japanese manage to keep the balance between old and new... and the Hama-rikyu Gardens are probably a good example.
Although the background is composed by glass and steel skyscrapers, in the Hama-rikyu Gardens you can still enjoy a cup of traditional tea and a Japanese bean cake in a traditional tea house (ochaya), just like 300 years ago, when this Ochaya was built...
