Sat, January 26, 2013, by Muza-chan
Ever since the end of the Edo period, Asakusa was the main entertainment area in Tokyo. A lot of traditional theaters were located here and the first amusement park in Japan, called Hanayashiki, was also opened here at the beginning of the Meiji period, in 1872.
