Harajuku Station Long Exposure Night Photo

I like taking long exposure photos and when the area is in perpetual motion, taking such a photo is quite challenging. Basically, you never know what will happen and how the picture will turn out... It takes luck and patience and also ability to evaluate the combination between the desired aperture, sensitivity and necessary exposure time, depending on what the people (or the cars) will do. If they're moving too fast for the shutter speed, they will become "ghosts" and these are rarely interesting photos...
But if you select the right balance, you can get nice effects, like the slight transparency of the girl with the red hat from this photo. I "caught" this image on a cold night, in front of the JR Harajuku Station.
