Thu, September 6, 2018, by Muza-chan
This small shrine named Hata-age ("raising the banner") Benzaiten is built on an island on the lake next to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu complex in Kamakura. Its name comes from an important historical event, the beginning of the Genpei War between the Minamoto and Taira clans.
