Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Higashimachi old traditional street

Sun, January 24, 2016, by Muza-chan
In Kurashiki, north-east of the famous Bikan Historical Quarter, there's another neighborhood that's worth a visit, Higashimachi.

It is a well preserved area in which, besides the famous Kurashiki storehouses, you can also admire machiya townhouses featuring lattice windows... A very picturesque area, and much less crowded than the well-known tourist areas of Kurashiki.
