Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Hirosaki castle park

Sat, July 27, 2019, by Muza-chan
Reconstructed 209 years ago, at the end of the Edo Period, the Hirosaki castle is the youngest of the 12 Japanese castles still in their original condition.

Besides the main keep (in the photo) there are also three surviving yagura and five surviving gates, all of them surrounded by a park renowned for its 2600 sakura trees.
