Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Hiroshima Castle Ninomaru

Wed, August 30, 2017, by Muza-chan
Many reconstruction projects for the Japanese castles, started during the 1950s-60s, were continued during the last years, adding other buildings next to the main tower.

The Ninomaru area of the Hiroshima castle was rebuilt in 1994 by using original materials and old construction methods. It includes the Main gate, the bridge, and several yagura turrets (Hira Yagura, Tamon Yagura and the Taiko Yagura).
