Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Hozuki Ichi at Senso-ji Temple

Tue, October 9, 2018, by Muza-chan
Since hundred of years ago, on July 10 the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa is filled with people coming to pray. The tradition says that if you pray in this day, it is as effective as... praying for 46,000 days.

Around this day at the temple takes place Hozuki-ichi, a fair dedicated to the hozuki plants, which used for decorations and also as offerings for the Obon festival taking place later, at the end of the summer.

Hozuki-Ichi, Senso-ji, Taito-ku, Tokyo
