I just met Santa!

Around the beginning of the Meiji Period, when the Christmas celebration became known in Japan, the first Santa Claus also appeared, of course, with a Japanese specific: in 1875 in Tokyo, at the Harajo School from Ginza, the Santa Claus was dressed as... a Samurai!

And original ideas are still here: today, I met Santa while he was... diving inside the main tank of the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan! Although he was surrounded by sharks, Santa was happy as always, friendly waving and playing with the aquarium visitors...
