Ikebukuro Long Exposure Night Photo

One of the most beautiful shopping areas in Tokyo and one of my all time favorites is the Sunshine 60 Street from Ikebukuro. It's even more beautiful by night, when the brightly colored buildings are all lit up.

I was relieved to see that even this summer, with all the energy crisis from Tokyo, Ikebukuro was shining as bright as I remembered it. So, one night I went there to take a few long exposure pictures... This is my favorite photo, taken in front of the Cinema Sunshine, with the two girls standing almost motionless while all other people were rushing in all directions...
