Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, Maruoka Castle Park

The Japan Cherry Blossom Association compiled a list of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, places selected to fulfill several requirements: it must be a well known historical location, with beautiful surroundings and with a large enough number of cherry trees. However, it is not a real top list, so each prefecture has at least one location listed.
