One of the newest and most interesting buildings from Tokyo is the new Tourist Information Center from Asakusa, located right across the Kaminarimon Gate.

Created by the architect Kengo Kuma, the building is an architectural masterpiece, a tower of 38.9 meters, with 8 different looking floors, a construction with no symmetry at all... The exterior decorations are similar to the traditional machiya wooden latice and the new structure is somehow well integrated with both the nearby Kaminarimon Gate and the distant Tokyo Sky Tree...
