Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Japanese architecture, Castle style bookstore

Sun, April 1, 2012, by Muza-chan
There are many types of travelers, some like exploring wild areas, mountains or natural reservations, others enjoy exploring the gastronomy, or the fashion, etc.
I am a "city explorer" and one of my preferred subjects is the architecture... I love wandering up and down the streets, observing the constructions and I must say that in Japan I'm very often rewarded by finding unusual buildings.

My favorites are the narrow buildings and the buildings with a traditional style architecture, like this bookstore from Matsumoto, located on the street nearby the Matsumoto Castle.
