Japanese architecture - Tokyo Big Sight

Tokyo Big Sight is the nickname of the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, the largest convention center from Japan, very popular among the anime fans because of the Comiket and the Tokyo International Anime Fair. But of course, many other important events take place here.

Tokyo Big Sight is actually a 3 buildings complex, but the most striking and recognizable feature is its glass and titanium paneled Conference Tower, a spectacular construction made of 4 inverted-pyramids raised on pillars. The pyramidal structure weights 6500 tons and an interesting fact is that it was built separately and raised on the pillars with a computer-guided system, process which took 3 days to complete...
