Sun, October 18, 2015, by Muza-chan
A unique type of yagura turret, a structure that is, at the same time, a two-story turret and an entrance gate, can be admired at the Hikone castle. Derived from a yagura-mon gate, due to its symmetrical shape was considered to look like a balance scale and was nicknamed tenbin yagura (tenbin means "balance").
