A Japanese company with an unlikely name, Lotteria

Although the name is somehow misleading, Lotteria is a Japanese company and it's not related to any lottery. It is, in fact, a... fast-food restaurants chain. The parent company is called Lotte (hence "Lotte-ria") and was established by Shigemitsu Takeo in 1948. And the company's unusual name comes from "Charlotte", a character from Goethe's novel The Sorrows of Young Werther...

In today's photo is one of its most popular restaurants, located in Harajuku, Tokyo, at the intersection of Meiji-dori and Omotesando, near the entrance to the Meiji-Jingūmae subway station.
