Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Japanese garden impressionist landscape, Red umbrella at Genkyu-en, Hikone

Tue, June 20, 2017, by Muza-chan
I remember with affection the moment when I took this photo, inside the Genkyu-en Garden in Hikone. I was admiring the wooden bridge and its perfect reflection in water, when the girl with the red umbrella appeared, walking slowly, bringing into my mind a feeling that reminded me of the 19th-century French impressionist pictures.
