Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Japanese Narrow Buildings Photo 23, Restaurant in Fukushima, Osaka

Wed, January 29, 2014, by Muza-chan
The area south of the Fukushima Station from the Osaka Loop Line allowed me to discover several delightful small streets, filled with small traditional restaurants, including this oden restaurant which enriched my collection of narrow buildings.

You can easily compare the width of this building with the air conditioner or with the nearby vending machine... Since it is so narrow, a part of the restaurant is actually outside, protected against the winter cold by the plastic cover doubled by traditional sudare bamboo screens... all these, combined with the delicious smell of oden, creating a very nice "only in Japan" atmosphere...
