This narrow street, several dozen meters long, located close to the Tatsumi Bashi in Gion, is one of the most picturesque and well preserved traditional streets in Kyoto. Narrowed even more by the inu-yarai curved bamboo fences, it is a beautiful reminder of how the city looked at the beginning of Meiji Period...
