Visiting Japan, one thing that everyone notices right away is the large number of vending machines... Of course, the most common are those selling soft drinks, coffee, beer, ice cream or snacks, but you can also find some vending machines selling perfume, sake or books...

Actually, Japan is the country with the largest density of vending machines: with a total number surpassing 5.52 million, there is a vending machine for every 23 people! So, no wonder that sometimes they are installed in large groups, like the one in my photo...
