Kaikyo Yume Tower night illumination

Located in Shimonoseki right next to shore, the Kaikyo Yume tower is visible from both shores of the Kanmon Channel. By night, it is brightly lit, and the color of the upper part varies by the day of the week (this photo was taken on a Wednesday, when the color was blue).

I photographed it from the elevated walkway in front of the JR Shimonoseki Station, pleasantly surprised by the exotic view offered by the rows of palm trees...
