Thu, April 12, 2018, by Muza-chan
One of the most beautiful Shinto legends is related to the Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture, one of the oldest and most important shrines in the country

According to Shinto tradition, once a year, during the tenth month of the lunar calendar, countless Shinto gods from all Japan are gathering here for a reunion... This period is called Kamiarizuki, meaning the "Month of the Gods".
