Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Kappabashi's Giant Chef

Thu, October 14, 2010, by Muza-chan
For those who (like me) enjoy cooking, the Kappabashi street is a true paradise. Here you can find anything you need in the kitchen or restaurant, from bakery equipment, furniture (Japanese or western style) or refrigerators, to uniforms, pottery, tableware, kitchen tools and obviously, the famous Japanese kitchen knives.

Plus, you can enjoy some really funny buildings, like this Niimi store with its giant Chef's Head on the top, a true landmark for this area.
