This 1:1 scale reproduction of the 18-meter-tall Tetsujin-28 robot from the manga and anime with the same name was erected in Kobe, the birth place of its creator, the manga artist Yokoyama Mitsuteru.

Located nearby the JR Shin-Nagata Station, it is today one of the city's landmarks, bringing here manga and anime fans from around the world.
