Kobuntei peach room

Built as a residence for Noriaki Tokugawa, the lord of Mito, the Kobuntei mansion in the Kairaku-en garden has each room painted with a different floral motif.
Photographed here is the peach room (momo in Japanese), symbol of longevity and fertility.
