Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Korakuen garden Renchi-ken rest house

Sun, September 30, 2018, by Muza-chan
Built during the Edo Period, the Korakuen garden in Okayama suffered great damage two times during the history, from flooding in 1934 and from the bombings of the WWII.

However, a few constructions escaped damage. That's the case of the Renchi-ken rest house, photographed here, which survived in its original form until today, together with the nearby stone bridge.
