Photographed here is the Rokkaku Kyuzo, hexagonal sutra repository on the Koya-san area, one of the few remaining in Japan where anyone is allowed to rotate it. Similar to the Tibetan prayer wheels, rotating the rinzō symbolizes the reading of the sutra.
