Kurashiki old kura street

These old kura storehouses in Kurashiki, the "town of storehouses", originally belonged to merchants who were trading rice. They were well preserved and today are listed as Groups of Traditional Buildings (Dentōteki Kenzōbutsu-gun), being use for a prosperous commerce, this time aimed at tourists, selling local products and suovenirs.
