Kushida Jinja, Hakata

Tue, July 3, 2018, by Muza-chan
Established 1261 years ago, Kushida Jinja is the most important Shinto shrine in Hakata. Known as Okushida-sama, it is dedicated to the god of immortality and business success.
The original buildings were destroyed during the medieval wars, and the shrine we see today is the one reconstructed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, 433 years ago.
