Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Kyoto Kiyomizu-dera Koyasu pagoda

Mon, July 15, 2019, by Muza-chan
The second pagoda of the Kiyomizu-dera temple is dedicated to Koyasu Kannon, a goddess who grants safe delivery of children. It is located on a small hill right across the temple's main hall, but although it is a small climb many pregnant women are going there to pray for safe and easy childbirth.
