Fri, May 10, 2019, by Muza-chan
The third garden of the Nijō castle, Seiryu-en, was built during modern times, on a site where during the Edo period were auxiliary buildings.

Photographed here is the Koun-tei tea house, moved here from a former residence in Kawaramachi belonging to Suminokura Ryoi, one of the three chief merchant families in the city during the Edo Period.
