Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Local delicacies in Japan, Miyajima oysters

Sat, August 30, 2014, by Muza-chan
One of the pleasures of traveling is to sample the local cuisine, and while visiting Japan, I was never disappointed by the local delicacies. One such treat that delighted me was a delicious grilled oyster tried at this small restaurant on Omotesando, Miyajima...

Oyster farming is a hundred years old tradition in Miyajima, and oysters are so popular here that there's even a dedicated festival where, of course, you can eat oysters at very low prices.
If you visit Miyajima don't miss out on this tasty treat, I sure you will enjoy them!
