Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Manneken Pis in Edo firemen uniform

Wed, January 23, 2019, by Muza-chan
There's a 51 years old tradition of dressing the Manneken Pis statue at the JR Hamamatsucho Station, and it is carefully maintained until today.

On the 26th day of the month, the members of the Minato City volunteer group Ajisai are changing the clothes of the statue according to the current events. Photographed here is the Edo firemen uniform version featured in November last year, on the occasion of a fire-prevention campaign.
