Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Masterpieces of Japanese architecture, Tsuzumimon Gate

Last week on March 14th, Kanazawa was connected to the Shinkansen high-speed rail network, after a construction effort that took 26 tears (the workings on the Hokuriku Shinkansen were started in 1989).

In the meantime, Kanazawa built one of the most modern train stations in Japan, featuring the famous Tsuzumimon Gate (photographed here), which is also one of the city's symbols. Now, the distance between Tokyo and Kanazawa is only 2 hours and a half, so Kanazawa is a comfortable day trip from Tokyo... Can't wait to visit it again!
